Where this comes from
Data Freshness: August 24, 2026
All 863 stops on this map were read from a page the chain itself publishes, and not one of them was typed in by hand.
The Facts
- Nothing here is hand-typed. All 863 stops were read from a page the chain itself publishes, and every one is checked against a second reading of that same chain's site before it ships.
- The oldest of the store lists was read on 24 August 2026. The newest was read on 25 August 2026, and it is the OLDEST that every page on this site prints as its Data Freshness. The freshest number is never the one quoted.
- Every one of the 863 sits where its chain says it does. Not one open stop carries a coordinate this map worked out for itself. The only approximate ones are the 3 stores that have been announced and not opened, which have no published coordinate to read, and every one of those says "approx. location" wherever it appears.
- 3 are announced and not open. A store its chain has said is coming, with no door to walk through yet. They are marked everywhere they appear and are never counted among the stops you can drive to today.
- The map is measured, not asserted. Each chain's roster is compared against a separate reading of that chain's own site, and a build that finds a stop the chain does not list stops rather than ships.
Every Stop, And Where It Was Read
One row per chain per kind of fact. Map is what this site carries; Source is what the chain's own list held when it was read. Open stores, announcements and the pages a chain writes about itself do not come from the same place or get read on the same day, so they do not share a row.

Where Map and Source differ, the difference is banners this map does not carry — H-E-B's list includes Central Market, Joe V's and Mi Tienda, which are not H-E-Bs.
What Gets Checked
The map against the chain
Every chain's roster is compared against a separate reading of that chain's own site. A town where this map shows more stores than the chain lists stops the build rather than shipping.
The routes against the road
Roadtrip distances are measured against real driving routes, baked to within a quarter mile of the pavement.
The hours against the file they came from
Opening hours are parsed once and read once. A day a chain published nothing about is never rendered as closed, because those are different facts.
The pages against themselves
Every page here has to carry facts this build worked out rather than filled in. A page that cannot is not published.
Questions People Ask
Where do the store locations come from?
Each chain's own published store list, read store by store: H-E-B from heb.com, Buc-ee's from buc-ees.com/locations/, Rudy's from rudysbbq.com/location/all, P. Terry's from pterrys.com/locations/, Shipley Do-Nuts from shipleydonuts.com/sitemap_index.xml, Torchy's from torchystacos.com/sitemap.xml. Nothing is bought, scraped from a directory, or entered by hand.
How current is it?
The store lists were read between 24 August 2026 and 25 August 2026, and the date printed on every page is the oldest of them. A refresh runs monthly, and a source that has not been read in 45 days fails that run rather than passing quietly.
How do you know the map is right?
Every chain's roster is checked against a second, separate reading of that chain's own site before anything ships. A town where the map shows more stores than the chain publishes stops the build. That check is the reason this site can be quoted.
Is Texas Find 'Em connected to any of these companies?
Texas Find 'Em is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies.
What is this site not telling me?
Hours are what the chain published, not a promise — no chain here publishes a holiday. Amenities are what the chain lists for that store. A stop with nothing listed is a stop the chain says nothing about, which is not the same as a stop that has nothing.
Can I use these numbers?
Yes, and they are addressable: /facts.json carries every fact on this site as data, and /llms.txt says what is here and where. Driving routes come from OpenStreetMap under the Open Database License; the ZIP table is a U.S. Census Bureau Gazetteer file.
